This Privacy Policy explains how The Memor App (developed by Elk Creek Ventures) collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application and website (thememorapp.com). We are committed to protecting your data while providing cemetery management and visitation services.

Information We Collect

We collect specific data to enable the features outlined in our scope of services.

Identity Data: When you register via email, Google, or Apple, we collect your login credentials and profile information.
Real-Time Location Data: To provide the “Man” icon feature that tracks your movement and allows you to follow your path in real-time, we collect precise GPS data from your device.
User-Generated Content: We collect data you voluntarily upload, including:
- Photos of headstones and deceased individuals.
- Audio files (music tributes).
- Biographical notes (dates of birth/death, military status).
- Posts shared in the Community Forum.
Vendor Information: If you register as a Vendor, we collect business verification documents, bank account details for payouts, and tax-related information.
Financial Data: We process payment information for service orders and reservations. We also maintain a record of your wallet history and past transactions.

How We Use Your Information

Navigation & Visibility: We use your GPS data to display your location on the Satellite Map View. Depending on your selected mode (Visible, Private, or Ultra Private), this location data may be shared with other users on the map.
Order Fulfillment: If you order services (e.g., grave cleaning, flowers), we share necessary details with third-party Vendors to fulfill the request.
Social Features: We use your data to facilitate features like Live Streaming events and Community Forum interactions.
Notifications: We use your contact details to send visit reminders, payment alerts for reservations, and event notifications.

Data Sharing

With Vendors: Your name and the specific location of the gravesite are shared with Vendors when you place an order.
With Other Users:
- If you select Visible Mode, your location is visible to other users.
- If you select Private Mode, you can see others, but they cannot see you.
- If you select Ultra Private Mode, you are completely invisible to others.
Legal & Compliance: We may process data to comply with GDPR regulations and data retention policies.

Data Security

Storage & Backup: We implement data backup procedures to ensure the safety of user and cemetery records.
Offline Syncing: Data stored locally on your device for offline use is auto-synced once a connection is re-established.

Data Deletion & User Rights

You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can perform this action by navigating to Settings > Delete Account within the app. This will permanently remove your profile, photos, and personal data from our servers.
